Matagorda Bay Fishing Report February 15, 2012.....The best
bite has been just prior to and during the fronts. All the fresh
water in the Colorado River turned off the fishing in the river.
The East Bay has been very good for drifting and wading. Find
the good water and you'll find the fish. On our most recent trip,
our best bite was drifting with 1/4 oz. heads and pumpkin/chart.
tails. I still have some Feb. & March dates open, give me a call
for a fun day on the water. December 18, 2011....Trout and red fish action
has been great on East & West Bays. We caught these fish early
in about 3 hours. This is a great time of the year for fishing
